DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nIn October and November of 2022\, I spent eight weeks
  in Lviv\, volunteering at the Ukrainian Education Platform (UEP)\, a Ukra
 inian non-profit assisting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). According 
 to the International Office for Migration (IOM)\, as of Dec. 5\, 2022\, th
 ere were 5\,914\,000 IDPs in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.\n\nLviv\
 , located in western Ukraine\, has managed to avoid large-scale destructio
 n but deals with frequent\, sometimes daily\, power blackouts and often a 
 lack of water. How do Lviv city residents manage to keep going while Russi
 an missiles and Iranian drones cut power and water\, and lay waste to near
  and far cities\, villages\, and towns? I will share my photos to give the
  audience a glimpse of life during war\, how I managed a daily routine dur
 ing frequent air raid sirens and assisted a rapidly expanding non-profit o
 rganization working with the neediest of families and children.\n\nFaceboo
